Our new T-shirt is here!
Why June 12, 1944? On this day, my Great Uncle Albert Muehlman, a Captain in the 79th Infantry Division, crossed the English Channel and landed on Utah Beach. This year, we not only swim for her but also for them, the thousands of soldiers who crossed the Channel in 1944 to secure our freedom. Our white shirt is our classic Freedom design, paying tribute to the American soldiers of the 79th who gave up their freedom for ours. The blue shirt shows the 79th’s colors—grey and blue—and their insignia, the "Lorraine Cross."

Every breath is for her, I swim for her.
My name is Victor Monheim and I am a marathon swimmer. I have partnered with The Aruna Project to help bring the fresh air of freedom to women suffocated by sexual slavery in Mumbai, India through the Swim for Her campaign.
Women enslaved by sexual slavery are hidden in the shadows, unseen, unloved and unknown. I’m swimming to bring their names to the surface and make them known to the world.
The journey begins now, find out how you can help.
Next Up:
THE. ENGLISH. CHANNEL.
Distance: 21 miles
When: September 19-27 2025. We have a 9 day swim window. I could swim anytime during that window.
Where: the swim starts at Shakespeare's Cliff or Samphire Hoe in Dover, England and ends at Cap Gris-Nez in France.
Conditions: These can vary and can change quickly which is why you get a window of time to swim. Big tides go in and out of the channel as you swim across making an “S’ pattern. Nobody ever swims a straight line!
Wildlife: Of course there are sharks…it’s the ocean. But honestly Jellyfish are the biggest threat here, expecting to get stung!
Water Temp: 55-65F…a bit chilly! But we love cold water here!
What makes this swim unique?
The English Channel is the standard for all other channel swims. It’s not necessarily the most difficult in the world but definitely has a rich history and is the most iconic marathon swim. Cold water, unpredictable weather, big ships and strong tides define the channel.
We are super excited to do this one! I’ve been dreaming about this one for a long time.
